The Project Mala Turkahan School was funded by Baal Dan and officially opened on February 11, 2011. The school cost $30,000 to build and will provide free education and meals to 150 children living in this rural area north of Varanasi in India. Baal Dan seeks to find grassroots projects in India that help children in need and fund them.
